  1. The Role-Players Guild of Kansas City's Name Our New Convention contest is open to anyone aged 18 and older, except where local restrictions apply.
  2. Submitters must agree with the legal disclosure on the submission form.
  3. Submitters must use the official submission form.
  4. Submitters can submit up to five (5) convention name ideas per for submission, but can fill out the form any number of times.
  5. In the event that the same convention name idea is received multiple times, the first one received will count, and all later entries with that name will be discarded.
  6. Names of existing conventions will be discarded. Examples can be found here.
  7. Submissions must be received by 5pm CT Mar 6, 2015.


  1. There will be only one winning convention name idea.
  2. RPGKC officers will select a group of nominees from all those submitted, narrowing the selection down based on relevance, appropriateness, and prior use.
  3. After the nominees have been reduced as above, the remainder will be submitted for a vote of all voting members of the RPGKC. The winning entry will be the name idea determined by the outcome of this vote.
  4. The winner and new convention name will be announced at Planet Comicon, in the tabletop game hall, March 13, 2015.
  5. The winner will be informed via email that same day.


The winner will receive two (2) weekend passes to the convention, being held November 12-15 in Overland Park, Kansas. The winner will also receive two premium RPGKC badge holders. Together these items constitute a $100 value.
