The RPGKC is proud to have been contacted by the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals in regards to participating in this event. We will be reaching out to the various local game stores to see if they are going to participate and then, we will be letting you know where to go to get your game on. This is a charity event to raise money for the Children’s Miracle Hospital Network. Basically, we play games, get people to sponsor us/donate and have fun with the feeling of helping out our community at the same time.
What do I mean by helping out OUR community? Well, when you go to the site to register and donate money, you get to pick what Children’s Miracle Network Hospital you donate to. (Our local happens to be KU Medical Center’s Pediatrics.) If you decide not to register, but want to simply donate, click on our link and join our team! If you’re interested in running a game, let us know and we will post it. Like I said, as soon as I have more information from the local stores on who is participating and the hours they will be participating, we’ll update that info and give you locations where the Guild will be at running games and having fun.
The event starts at 8 AM on November 2nd. The games to be played in general are whatever games you feel like playing. Whether it’s your favorite RPG (D&D, Amber, Vampire), Board Games (Ticket to Ride, Sentinels of the Multiverse), or Miniatures (Warmachine, Warhammer 40K), play games and have fun.
Registrations is free. Play as little or as long as you want. Have fun. Support an amazing cause. Thank you.
